Hello, we are Pam Maguire and Tara Ortega! We began making wedding cakes for family and friends several years ago and after many word-of-mouth referrals, we decided to go into business together… we call it Cakes by My Mom and Me. Tara has been decorating for over 11 years and is quite accomplished. Pam (the mom) is the baker and has more than a couple of yummy recipes up her sleeve. We bake and decorate in our state approved kitchen and deliver anywhere in the greater Kansas City area, including outlying areas. Our goal is to help our brides design their own one-of-a-kind wedding cake that is not only beautiful but also delicious!
