LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! The utmost professional, Mike provided the sound for our officiant and musicians during our outdoor ceremony as well as DJ services during the dinner and reception. He is FANTASTIC! He is easy to reach, follows-up as planned, and will make the music portion of your wedding and reception low-stress and a huge SUCCESS! The ceremony music and our officiant were easily heard by our guests. The dinner and reception lighting was elegant and beautiful. Our dance floor was full all night long and everyone commented on how great the songs were. All of our guests were having so much fun that we ended up asking Mike and his wife (who is just as wonderful) to continue the music a little longer, because no one wanted the party to end! He was full of great ideas and tips to enhance our reception. He contacted our event coordinator and photographer ahead of time to ensure that everything would flow as planned. In our opinion, if you have decided to go with a DJ for your wedding, MIKE IS THE OBVIOUS CHOICE!!!!

Excellent DJ, Highly Recommended! Our reception was an absolute blast, and it was largely thanks to Mike. Not only did he do a great job with music selection and involving our guests in the reception (our dance floor was full all night!), but he also went out of his way to keep the evening flowing smoothly by checking in with my husband and I before speeches or other events, so we were ready to go and didn't feel rushed. He was very professional and made planning very easy and stress free. We had an overall excellent experience with him and would recommend him to anyone for any event!

Mike Westerman is the only DJ you will ever need. He did an amazing job at our Wedding Reception. The dance floor was packed all night. It's now been one month since our wedding and our friends still talk about what an awesome time they had dancing at our reception. They tell us that we need to hire DJ Mike Westerman and throw a party every year for our anniversary!!!! With Mike Westerman, you do not have to worry about the events during your wedding reception. You can just enjoy your wedding and have fun and Mike will ensure that all the events (cake cutting, bouquet toss etc.) take place at the appropriate time. He knows how to get the dance floor going and mixes his play list such that everyone gets to dance (old and young folks alike). His services are very reasonably priced and you definitely get more than what you pay for! Make sure you go with Mike for all your DJ needs..you won't regret it!

Michael was absolutely the perfect fit for our wedding. We had a small, intimate lunch reception following our ceremony, at Lidia's Loft in Kansas City. Because it was lunchtime and such a small venue, we didn't want to do a "dancing" reception, but we wanted some entertainment so that our guests could relax and get to know each other. Mike suggested a series of fun wedding-themed reception games that got everyone involved. It was so much fun! The guests got really into the good-spirited competitiveness and had a blast. Mike ran the show with humor and good nature - it is hard work to keep 50-60 people all engaged and entertained, but he did it beautifully. He is very respectful and works really hard to talk to you beforehand to ensure that he knows what your vision is. His price was very fair, and we found him extremely professional - definitely a high caliber wedding DJ we would recommend with no hesitation.

Best DJ in KC!!! We were impressed with this company from beginning to end. We live in Des Moines, IA and had our wedding in Kansas City. It was hard to catch up with him every time we came to town for wedding planning on weekends because he was always busy working other weddings. He actually took time out and drove up to Des Moines to meet with us to talk about our wedding! Throughout our whole wedding planning, no other vendor that has offered to drive up to see us - we were really happy Mike offered! It was very helpful/generous of him to do that. To top that off, he completely listened and understood what we were looking for at our reception. We had a black tie wedding at the KC Plaza - and he took it from classy to awesome dance and party! The entire night moved smoothly and was very fun! It was pass midnight and our guests were still on the dance floor. After the wedding, everyone commented on how much fun they had dancing and how the DJ played great songs. Go with Mike, you won't regret it.
